Gallery Policies
Terms & Conditions
Agreement of Sale
By placing an order with Canvour, you are formally offering to purchase a physical artwork subject to these Gallery Policies. All orders are subject to material availability and final confirmation of the order price. When you place an order, you will receive an acknowledgement email confirming receipt; this email is strictly an acknowledgement and does not constitute acceptance of your order. A contract between us for the purchase of the goods will not be formed until your payment has been approved and we have debited your credit or debit card.
Pricing & Availability
While we meticulously curate our digital gallery to ensure that all details, historical descriptions, and prices are entirely accurate, systemic errors may occasionally occur. If we discover an error in the price of any canvas you have ordered, our Client Services team will inform you immediately, giving you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it for a full refund.
Bespoke Craftsmanship & Sizing
Every Canvour masterpiece is bespoke and crafted to order. We pride ourselves on maintaining the uncompromised integrity of the original artwork, which dictates our unique sizing families. While we utilize state-of-the-art cutting and framing architecture, please note that all stated dimensions are approximate. Because our floating tray frames are assembled by hand from natural solid woods, microscopic variations of a few millimeters may occur. Furthermore, wood grain is a natural occurrence; therefore, the grain pattern on your specific Light Oak or Rich Walnut frame will be entirely unique to your piece.
Intellectual Property
The historical masterpieces we reproduce reside in the public domain, allowing us to share these forgotten gems with the world. However, the specific digital curation, brand identity, website architecture, written copy, and proprietary product mockups on this website remain the exclusive intellectual property of Canvour. Unauthorized reproduction, scraping, or distribution of our digital assets is strictly prohibited.
Governing Law
These Gallery Policies and any separate agreements whereby we provide you with our physical artworks shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom. Any disputes relating to these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the United Kingdom.
Should you require clarification on any of our gallery policies prior to acquiring a piece, our curators are available to assist you.
